The National Ice Skating Association of the UK Ltd (NISA) is pleased to announce that the second John Curry Memorial Competition – ISU Junior Grand Prix will be taking place in Sheffield from 15^th to 18^th October 2008.

Created in 1997, the Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series comprises 8 international junior figure skating events and the final.  The John Curry Memorial Competition will see more than 140 of the world’s leading junior figure skaters, aged between 13 and 19, compete in all ISU disciplines (singles, pairs and dance) for a place at the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final in Korea. The International Skating Union (ISU) have provisionally allocated qualifying events to France, Italy, Mexico, Czech Republic, Spain, Belarus and South Africa as part of the 2008/09 season. The Sheffield competition will be taking place at iceSheffield, NISA’s national ice centre for figure skating.  Tickets for the event are now on sale at .
