The magic of the movies will put the icing on the Christmas cake when Dancing on Ice meets Strictly Come Dancing in a Sheffield festive skating spectacular.

iceSheffield’s Christmas at the Movies blockbuster will feature a collection of sparkling performances from star skaters and dancers covering hit films such as the supercalifragilistic Mary Poppins, musical cabaret Moulin Rouge and dance classic Step up.

The Christmas cracker is being directed by international skater and former British Champion David Hartley, who will lead a 100-strong cast of top national and international ice competitors from Sheffield and across the UK.

Performing alongside the skaters will be stars of Sheffield’s City Limits Dance School who will add to the show’s seasonal sparkle with dazzling displays of Latin ballroom and streetdance capturing the magic of the movies.

With a special guest appearance from Santa to complete the hot Hollywood show package, Christmas at the Movies will be a festive spectacle for the whole family to enjoy.
