Saturday's game (7.30pm) will see the Steeldogs taking on their fiercest rivals, Manchester Phoenix, in the last battle of the current season.
Steeldogs have made more history this year as a Sheffield EPL team not only beat Manchester for the first time since Manchester dropped from the Elite league, but they then did it twice, plus an overtime point in another game.
It means that if Steeldogs get a straight win on Saturday, they will have won the series, another great achievement for this team.
This should be the best contested game between these two teams this year as both are desperate for the points – Sheffield to take the series and maintain their 3rd League position, or even be in a position to challenge Manchester for 2nd place by closing the present four point gap.
Manchester, with Tony Hand back on the ice, is still hoping to challenge the present League leaders, Guildford Flames, in an effort to retain their League title from last season but to do so, Phoenix cannot afford to lose any points in the closing games of the season.
Andre is appealing for Sheffield fans to come and support the team in this vital game.
