Copthorne Sheffield Scimitars are calling on you to help the team put on five-star performances in their next two home games.
The Scimitars have unveiled Saver Nights, a unique ticket offer to supporters providing affordable ice hockey to sports fans across the city region.
Tickets for the Scimitars’ games against Milton Keynes Lightning on Sunday, November 23 (5:30pm) and Peterborough Phantoms on Saturday, November 29 (7:30pm) have been reduced to £5 for adults and £1 for concessions (under 16s, students, over 60s and disabled).
The Scimitars are hoping to attract huge crowds to the games at iceSheffield and introduce ice hockey to a whole new fan base. Former Sheffield Steelers star, now coach of the Scimitars, Ron Shudra, said: “We want to help make sure we get lots more new and old hockey and sports fans through the doors. We want to pack out iceSheffield for these matches, get people hooked and keep them coming back for more!
“This would be great for the club, the players and a much better atmosphere for all.”
Martin Birch, chairman of the Scimitars, added: “Apart from the much needed extra revenue, just imagine what a difference a packed and passionate iceSheffield would make to Ron and the boys!
“Hopefully once they have come along and experienced the action they will keep coming back and become great supporters. We are fully confident the team is now coming together really well and will continue to improve in the coming weeks and months.”
The Copthorne Sheffield Scimitars currently play in the English Premier League, one division below the Elite League, with many of the players born and trained in Sheffield.
