Sheffield International Venues Ltd was established in 1988 and is the wholly owned operating company for Sheffield City Trust, an independent charity. The company manages 14 sport, leisure and entertainment venues in Sheffield and now also Chesterfield, including Don Valley Stadium, Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, The English Institute of Sport Sheffield, Ice Sheffield, Hillsborough Leisure Centre, Concord Sports Centre, Woodbourn Road Athletics Centre, Sheffield Arena, Birley Wood, Beauchief, Tinsley Park, and Tapton Park golf courses, Sheffield City Hall and the Don Valley Bowl.

Your Safety
Ice skating is a fun activity for all ages - but some people think it's a risky sport. However with a bit of common sense and by following these simple tips, ice skating really can be a fun activity for all the family!
• Wear comfortable clothing - not too tight but not too baggy. A tracksuit is ideal!
• Gloves will keep your hands warm and provide protection if you fall
• Wear comfortable socks
• Do not wear a scarf - this can be dangerous to yourself and others!
• It's important your skates fit correctly... remember to tie them all the way up to your ankle.
• Before getting onto the ice, try walking around to get used to the feel and weight of your skates.

Ice Mobility
TAKE TO THE ICE... ON WHEELS!
Wheelchair users are invited to take to the ice and join in the fun in the comfort of their own wheelchairs!
But how does it work?
It's simple... all you need is you and your wheelchair!
Let us know the chosen date and time of your visit by calling 0114 2233900
When you arrive, report to reception and then make your way to the ice level. A ramp will be provided to assist you onto the ice.
And then your away... simply manoeuvre around on the ice!
Can we have assistance on the ice?
No problem - you can bring a skater friend or assistant along with you who can take you around the ice... or you can hire one of Ice Sheffield's stewards to assist you on the ice!
Stewards can be hired for £11.75 per hour. Admission is charged additionally.
