With £25,000 of professional coaching up for grabs, this is your opportunity to discover the REAL you and take part in Yorkshire’s biggest skating competition. Real Radio has once again teamed up with iceSheffield to present a once in a lifetime chance to take part in The Real Yorkshire Ice Factor:- an ice skating competition designed for people of 16 years and over of any skating level.

Following 6 months of intensive on and off ice training, chosen finalists will take to the ice in front of a sell out audience in the grand final on Friday 1st April 2011.

The competition closes on Sunday 3rd October.

Forty applicants will be carefully selected and invited to iceSheffield to take part in the semi final selection process on Thursday 14th October 6.30pm. Four finalists will be named on Real Radio’s Breakfast show between 6am-9am Friday 15th October.

PRIZES INCLUDE:

  • Finalists will follow a specifically designed programme to prepare them for the performance of a lifetime.
  • With new celebrity status, all finalists will be interviewed live on Real Radio’s breakfast show.
  • Finalists will receive a brand new pair of skates sponsored by puck stop along with their own professionally made skating outfit.
  • During the training process finalists will receive Fitness Unlimited membership (free unlimited access to Sheffield’s premier fitness venues).
  • The overall winner will receive the iceSheffield Golden Key which includes unlimited access to any recreational skating session for one year.
